A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 0·62 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 1091, being part of Section 27, Town of Wellington.
Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20891.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115064, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of September, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at page 1961, an area of land containing 333 acres in the Wellington Land District was proclaimed as a provisional State forest in terms of section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22: And whereas an error was made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation and it is desirable that this error be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby by way of amendment to the said Proclamation declare that the words and description set forth in the Schedule hereto shall be substituted for the words and description set forth in the Schedule to the said Proclamation; and I do hereby further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the date on which the said Proclamation was intended to take effect.
