Notice of Intention to take Land for Public Works.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute certain public
works, and for the purposes of such public works the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is required
to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that the respective plans of the land required to be taken are deposited in the
post-offices as set out in such Schedules, and are there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of such
works or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or to
the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the 21st day of September,
1942, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to take Land for Housing Purposes in Block V,
Mount Robinson Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 32 of the Statutes
Amendment Act, 1936, to take the land described in the Schedule
hereto for housing purposes : And notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
post-office at Foxton and is there open for inspection ; and that all
persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have
any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth
the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 1 rood
5 perches.
Being Section 546, Town of Foxton.

Situated in Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District. (S.O.
20913.)

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114560, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured blue.

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency
Regulations 1940.

PURSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare
that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers
Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-
motors, shall not apply to Leonard Thomas Driver and Raymond
Allison Ness, of Dunedin.

The Ngaruawahia Milk Delivery Notice, 1942.

PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regu-
lations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give
notice as follows :—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Ngaruawahia Milk Delivery
    Notice 1942.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the seventh day after the
    date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
  3. The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided
    for the said district.

SCHEDULE.
THE NGARUAWAHIA MILK DELIVERY SCHEME, 1942.
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context other-
wise requires,—
"The district" means the Borough of Ngaruawahia as at
present constituted.
(2) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and
the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows :—

Name and Address. Area.
1. R. T. Smith, Ngaruawahia All that area forming part of the Borough of Ngaruawahia, as now constituted; bounded to the north and to the east by the northern and eastern boundary of the said borough, commencing at the point where the northern boundary intersects the Waikato River and terminating at the intersection of the southern boundary of the said borough with the Government railway-line; bounded to the west and to the south by the Waikato River from the aforementioned point where it is intersected by the northern boundary of the said borough to the bridge where the Government railway-line crosses the Waikato River; and thence in a south-westerly and south-easterly direction by the Government railway-line to its intersection with the southern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough.
2. E. A. Cooper, Ngaruawahia All that area forming part of the Borough of Ngaruawahia not included in the area hereinbefore described.
3. Newstead Pure Milk Co., Ltd., Hamilton The Ngaruawahia School.
