NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
PURSUANT to section 22 of the Public Works Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Napier Borough Council proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, to increase the width of a street—and that accordingly the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for that purpose.
Notice is further given that a plan of the land required to be taken for the purpose aforesaid is deposited at the office of the Council, Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of the said land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land must set forth their objections in writing, and send the same to the Napier Borough Council at its offices aforesaid on or before the 7th day of October, 1942, being a date not less than forty days from the first publication of this notice.
The Schedule.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proposed to be taken : 1.24 perches.
Being part Lot 3 on Deposited Plan 5160, being part Town Section 208 ; coloured on plan blue.
As the said piece of land is shown on plan No. 2082/(red), deposited for inspection as aforesaid. Situated in the Borough of Napier in the Land Registration District of Hawke’s Bay.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
Notice of General Meeting.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that a general meeting of the members of the company will be held in the liquidator’s office, Barton’s Buildings, Manse Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 14th day of September, 1942, at 2 o’clock p.m.
Business.
(1) To receive the liquidator’s statements of account showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of.
(2) To direct the liquidator by extraordinary resolution as to the disposal of the books and papers of the company.

NOTICE is hereby given that the affairs of the company having now been fully wound up, a general meeting of shareholders of Gas Storage (New Zealand), Limited (in liquidation), will be held at the Public Trust Board Room, Moray Place, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of September, 1942, at 3 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of laying before the shareholders an account of the winding-up, showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to give any explanation thereof.

THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.
NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land, namely : All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing 1 acre, more or less, being part of Section 67 of Block X of the Survey District of Mangamuka.
A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Kohukohu, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held at 407 Chancery Chambers, Auckland, on Monday, the 14th day of September, 1942, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the erection, construction, and maintenance of an electric-transformer substation—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk, Manchester Street, Christchurch, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Christchurch Council Chambers, Manchester Street, Christchurch.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement three perches and two-tenths of a perch (3 2/10 perches), situated in Worcester Street, Christchurch, being part of Town Section 382, part of Lot 6, Deposited Plan 1003, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 320, folio 243.
