A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of August, 1942.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Omapere Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 1 rood 3 perches.

Being part Whakanekeneke D No. 3B Block, Block I, Omapere Survey District. (S.O. plan 32467.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/91/7B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2903, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of August, 1942.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid off in Blocks I and V, Omapere Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of section four hundred and eighty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned; in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

District constituted under the Marriage Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Buller and Charleston districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby constituted one marriage district, the name and boundaries whereof shall be as follows:—

BULLER DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Nelson and Westland Land Districts, bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Whareatea River; thence up the middle of that river to the source of its southern branch; thence to and along the watershed between the Cascade Creek and the Waimangaroa River to Mount William; thence south-easterly along a right line to the confluence of the Orikaka and Buller Rivers; thence south-westerly along a right line to Buckland Peaks; thence to and along the summit of the Paparoa Range to a point near the southern watershed of the Porarari River; thence to and along the southern watershed of the said Porarari River to the sea at the south headland of the said river; thence northerly generally along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Whareatea River, the point of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Buller and Charleston Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby constituted one registration district the name whereof shall be the Buller District, and the boundaries whereof shall
