I, WILLIAM DORRIEN NICHOL, M.B., Ch.B, University of New Zealand, 1941, now residing in Dunedin, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 14th February, 1942, to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above company, held at the office of Mr. W. E. L. Gay, Wakefield Street, Westport, on the 12th January, 1942, at 4.45 p.m., the following resolution was passed :-
"That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily and that Mr. W. E. L. Gay, of Westport, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator."

EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.

NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land, namely:-
All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing 12 acres 1 rood 29.8 perches, more or less, being portion of the land on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 11562, being part of Old Land Claim No. 7, situated in Block V, Takahue Survey District.
A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Kaitaia, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 7th day of January, 1942, the following resolution was duly passed:-
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that WALTER D'ARCY PALMER, of Invercargill, Company Secretary, be appointed liquidator of the company."
