Excluding Land from Maniapoto Development Scheme.

WHEREAS by a certain notice dated the 1st day of August, 1931, and published in Gazette No. 60 of the 13th day of the same month at page 2291, the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and the said land was included in the Oparure Development Scheme:
And whereas the said land was subsequently transferred from the Oparure Development Scheme to the Maniapoto Development Scheme:
And whereas it is now desired to exclude the said land from the Maniapoto Development Scheme and to release it from the provisions of Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936:
Now, therefore, the Board of Native Affairs, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, hereby revokes the said notice, and the said land is hereby excluded from the Maniapoto Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE.

The following land situate in the Orahiri Survey District, in the Waikato-Maniapoto Native Land Court District, Te Kumi A 29 Block, formerly known as Te Kumi 12B 2B 3B 2B Block, containing 90 acres 2 roods 28 perches.

Declaration of Result of Election of Producers' Representatives on the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee.

I, KENNETH ALBERT BIGGS, Returning Officer for the purposes of the election of four (4) producers' representatives for appointment to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee established by the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1940, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the following four (4) producers to have been duly nominated for the said vacancies:--
Northern Ward--
Llewellin, Donald Irving.
Llewellin, Sydney Irving.
Southern Ward--
Eden, Felix Ashton.
Warnes, Charles William.
As the number of candidates nominated for either ward does not exceed the number of vacancies to be filled, I therefore declare the said Donald Irving Llewellin, Sydney Irving Llewellin, Felix Ashton Eden, and Charles William Warnes to be duly elected for appointment to such office.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from S. E. Lowe, 110 Tasman Street, Wellington, for a license to manufacture children's footwear, sizes 1-12, by the stuck-on and riveted processes.
Fish Retailing.
Applications have been received from the following storekeepers: Browns District Stores, Ltd., Browns; G. G. Sutherland, Edendale; G. G. Sutherland, Wyndham; and Cameron and Finn, Ltd., Tuatapere, to commence and carry on the retail sale of fish from their respective premises.
Fruit Canning.
An application has been received from Irvine and Stevenson's St. George Co., Ltd., for an extension of its existing license in the above industry to permit the canning or pears and other fruit in the Nelson Provincial District.
Any persons who consider they will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications, and who wish to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 7th August, 1942.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, the registration of the Nelson Gold Dredge and Alluvial Gold-mines Employees' Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 1547, situated at Nelson, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date of this notice.
