Final Meeting of Creditors and Shareholders.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of J. M. MENNIE, LTD. (IN LIQUIDATION).
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of creditors and shareholders of the above-named company will be held at the office of the liquidator, 2nd Floor, Premier Buildings, Durham Street East, on Wednesday, 29th July, 1942, at 2.15 p.m., for the purpose of—

Receiving the liquidator’s final account of the winding up and any explanation thereof which may be required.

Passing the following extraordinary resolution: “That the books and papers of the company remaining in the hands of the liquidator shall be retained for a period of five years from date, after which they may be destroyed.”

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, that a scheme for disposition of the Trust Fund in connection with the scholarship called “Young Scholarship,” administered by the Board of Governors of the Marlborough High School, has been referred to the Supreme Court at Blenheim, and will be heard and determined after the expiration of three (3) weeks from the 10th day of July, 1942.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of NEW ZEALAND CHARCOALS, LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the above company, held on 7th July, 1942, the following resolution was passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily, that such winding up be by ‘members’ voluntarily winding up,’ and that DAVID GRAHAM SNODGRASS, of Hamilton, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”
All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 8th day of August, 1942, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
