Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.

An application has been received from Dearsly's, Ltd.,
7 Nugent Street, Auckland, for an extension of its existing footwear-manufacturing license so as to permit the manufacture of military footwear by the screwed and fairstitched methods.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

An application has been received from H. J. Roderique,
Bluff, to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel "Kekeno," BF. 6, using hand-lines, set-nets, and drag-nets, catches to be landed at Bluff.

Fruit Canning.

An application has been received from Irvine and Stevenson's St. George Co., Ltd., Dunedin, for an extension of its existing license in the above industry so as to permit the canning of pears and other fruit at Motueka.

Any persons who consider they will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications, and who wish to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 30th July, 1942.
