Station; thence along a right line from Puketoi Trig. Station to the north-eastern corner of Section 61, Block VIII, Mangaroa Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of Sections 61, 62, 63, 64, and 65, Block VIII aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the south-eastern boundary of said Section 65 and that boundary produced to the middle of the Tiraumea River; thence down the middle of the Tiraumea River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 175, Block VIII aforesaid; thence to and along that boundary to Pa Valley Road; thence along Pa Valley Road to the Mangaroa Valley Road, across that road, and along the southern boundary of Section 16, Block IV, Mangaroa Survey District, to the Mangaroa Stream; thence up that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 30A, Block IV aforesaid; thence to and along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Sections 30 and 27, Block III, Mangaroa Survey District, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 33, Block III aforesaid, to its southernmost corner; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 33 and 4A to Mount Heale; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3, 4, and 5, Block III aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 5, 1A, and 1 to the Makakahi River; thence along a right line to Arawaru Trig. Station; thence north-easterly along a right line to Marima Trig. Station; thence by a right line to the abutment of Marima Ridge Road; thence by the abutment of Marima Ridge Road and the north-western boundaries of Section 4, Block V, and Sections 3, 2, and 1, Block VI, Mangahao Survey District, to the southernmost corner of Section 13, Block XIX, Mangahao Survey District; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 13 aforesaid to South Range Road; thence northerly along South Range Road and North Range Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block II, Mangahao Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 1, Block I, Mangahao Survey District; thence along the western boundary of Section 1 aforesaid and that boundary produced to the middle of the Manawatu River; thence up the middle of the Manawatu River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 5, Block I, Makuri Survey District; thence along the boundary of the Wellington Land District to the western side of the Rabbit-fence Reserve at the north-eastern corner of Section 4, Block III, Makuri Survey District; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of that reserve to the western boundary of Section 13, Block III, Makuri Survey District; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the northern boundary of the land on plan 4376, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence easterly and north-easterly along that boundary to the Rabbit-fence Reserve; thence along the southern and eastern sides of that reserve to the boundary of the Wellington Land District, and along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 43, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District, the point of commencement; and excluding therefrom the Borough of Pahiatua.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

FITZHERBERT RIDING.—KAIRANGA COUNTY.

All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded on the north, east, and south generally by the Kairanga County boundary, hereinbefore described, and on the north-west by the Manawatu River.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of June, 1942.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Site for Public Buildings of the General Government.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the closed street described in the First Schedule hereto, being land adjoining a reserve for a site for public buildings of the General Government described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said reserve.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 1557R, Block XXXI, Town of Queenstown: Area, 12·2 perches, more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

Abolishing the Warden’s Court at Queenstown.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Mining Act, 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby abolish the Warden’s Court at Queenstown.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Old Head Street, in the County of Waikouaiti, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of June, 1942.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waikouaiti County Council on the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, viz. :

“That the Waikouaiti County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the Waikouaiti County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-eastern side of portion of Old Head Street fronting Lot 4 and part Lot 3, Block 4, Town of Waikouaiti”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Old Head Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

The south-eastern side of all that portion of road situated in the Otago Land District, County of Waikouaiti, known as Old Head Street, fronting Section 4, and part Sections 3, 15, 16, and 17, Block IV, Town of Waikouaiti. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113976, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
