Mining Privilege to be struck off the Register.

NOTICE is hereby given in terms of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause to the contrary be shown within one month from the date hereof, the mining privilege specified in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report.
I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purposes of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.
Dated at Wellington, this 24th day of June, 1942.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from Vivian Slippers, Ltd., Bond Street, Wellington, for an extension of its existing license so as to include the manufacture of children’s shoes and sandals, sizes 6–13 and 1–5, by the machine-sewn blake method.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 9th July, 1942.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from A. Larkins, 532 Karangahape Road, Auckland, for a license to commence in the above industry to the extent of manufacturing children’s footwear, sizes 3–13, by the blake-stitch, fair-stitch, screwed, and cemented processes.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 9th July, 1942.
