A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 1 acre 0 roods 34 perches.
Adjoining Allotment 382, Waipareira Parish, and part Lot 32, D.P. 2088, being part John Brigham’s claim.
Situated in Block X, Waimatata Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32493.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114043, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June, 1942.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Native lands described in the Schedule hereto has been completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said lands have become Crown land.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—CITY OF LOWER HUTT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 21-01 perches, more or less, being part Lot 39, D.P. 1951, being part Section 26, Hutt District, and part Section 26, Hutt District, and being the whole of the lands in Certificates of Title, Volume 324, folio 230, and Volume 163, folio 47, Wellington Registry: Bounded towards the north by part Lot 32, D.P. 33, and part Lot 34 on D.P. 1951 aforesaid, 63-07 links and 69-47 links; towards the south-east by Oxford Terrace, 127-19 links, 49-44 links, 30-41 links, and 17-62 links; and towards the west by other part Lot 39, D.P. 1951, contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 424, folio 77, 178-78 links: be all the aforesaid admeasurments more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 16/1393 “A,” in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Declaring Lands in Canterbury Land District to be subject to the Provisions of Section 23 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands of the Crown to be subject to the provisions of that section to enable certain readjustments of leases and licenses to be carried into effect:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be subject to the provisions of the said section:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by subsection one of the aforesaid section twenty-three, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare, that from and after the date of gazetting hereof, the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.
