Appointment of Officer for Purposes of Part II of the Fisheries
Act, 1908.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-
General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the
Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and
Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Albert Leslie Wright, of Waitara,
to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-
mentioned Act in respect of the Taranaki Acclimatization
District.

of subsection (3) of section 2 of the Meat-export Control
Act, 1921-22, to appoint--
David Allan, Esquire,
to be a member of the New Zealand Meat-producers' Board
established by the said Act and the representative of the
persons for the time being engaged in business as Stock and
Station Agents on the said Board.

to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at
Te Kuiti, on and from the 24th day of December, 1941.

to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at
Half-moon Bay, on and from the 1st day of December, 1941.
Percy Escott Horace Alsop
to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at

ance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926,
I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the
Otago Central Electric-power Board's Inner Area, taken on
the 20th day of December, 1941, on the proposal of the
Board to borrow the sum of thirteen thousand pounds
(Β£13,000) for the construction of additional headworks and a
further generating station at the Roaring Meg Stream, together
with an access road to the site of the new works,
Votes.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .. 155
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 25
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
