CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood, more or less, and being part Reserve 1049, situated in Block II, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by the Main South Road, 500 links; towards the north-east by Burnham Road, 250 links; towards the south-east by other part of Reserve 1049, 500 links; and towards the south-west by Lot 57, Deposit Plan 356, 250 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/300p, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of June, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 28 perches.
Being Section 12, Block X, Town of Alexandra. (S.O. 35 Tn.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113346, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Uawa County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 2 roods 35·9 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 11–18, Block XV, and Sections 10, 12, 14, 15, Block XVI, Tolaga Bay Township, and Blocks 3, 4A, 4B, Wairoro Block.
Situated in Block XII, Uawa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4188, blue.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114200, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
