A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of May, 1942.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Woodend Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1942.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Ralph Freeman Burnet,
Cecil Allan Payne,
Thomas Arthur Eder,
Herbert Robertshaw,
Barnard John Archer,
William James Percy, and
Henry Frank Kelcher Vaughan

to be the Woodend Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Woodend, as the place where the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

WOODEND DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 2134, Block XII, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 137 acres 3 roods 20 perches.
Also Reserve 2539, Block XI, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 6 acres 0 roods 23 perches.
Also Reserve 3728, Block XII, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 126 acres 2 roods.
Also Reserve 4057, Block XII, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 22 acres 0 roods 26 perches.
Also Reserve 4056, Block XII, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 66 acres 2 roods 17 perches.
All that area containing by admeasurement 56 acres 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve No. 4058, situated in Block XII of the Rangiora Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Reserve No. 4057, 1839·8 links; towards the east by a two-chain road reserve, 3138·5 links; towards the south by a public road, 1800 links; and again towards the west by Reserve No. 3728, 3143·7 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 70 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, and being part Reserve No. 4058, situated in Block XII, Rangiora Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a public road, 1800 links; towards the east by a two-chain road reserve, 4018·8 links; towards the south by a public road, 1720 links; and again towards the west by Reserve No. 3728, 4046·3 links.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/245c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Brighton Survey District, Nelson Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1942.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for travelling-stock purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Buller County, containing 17 acres 2 roods, more or less, being all that portion of Section 4, Block IX, Brighton Survey District, bounded on the east, south, and west by public roads and on the north by the other portion of Section 4. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 9/1420c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon in outline bordered red.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Leeston Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1942.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for gravel-pit purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
