Revocation of an Appointment in the Public Service.

THE Public Service Commissioner has revoked the appointment in the Public Service of
Edward John Robertson
to be a Registrar of Brands under the Stock Act, 1908, for the Geraldine, Mackenzie, and Waimate Branding Registration Districts, on and from the 1st day of March, 1942.
Notice of Mr. Robertson’s appointment appeared in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35, page 949, of 1st April, 1942.

Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, amended.
WHEREAS by a notice (hereinafter referred to as “the said notice”) published in the Gazette on the 5th day of March, 1942, at page 634, the Minister of Supply and Munitions, pursuant to Regulation 3 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1940, approved the Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942 (hereinafter referred to as “the scheme”):
And whereas it is desired to amend the scheme by a readjustment of the authority for certain of the deliveries of milk authorized by the scheme:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Supply and Munitions, pursuant to the said Regulation 3, doth hereby amend the table (contained in clause 3 of the Schedule to the said notice), describing the persons entitled to deliver the commodity in the district and the extent to which they are so entitled, by revoking therein (for zone numbered 58) the words “Mr. Mooney, 164 North Road, Dunedin,” and substituting therefor the words “Mr. A. Brown, Norwood Street, Dunedin.”

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Amendment to Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 57).
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby amend the Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 57) by deleting therefrom the words “carried out for any of His Majesty’s Military, Naval, or Air Forces, or for civil defence,” and by substituting therefor the words “defence works within the meaning of the Building Emergency Regulations 1939.”
