A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Takaka County, containing by admeasurement 1,627 acres, more or less, and being Section 3, Block XIV, Takaka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 99/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of May, 1942.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in Kaikohe Town District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A STREET.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street: l acre 1 rood 14·5 perches.

Being part Taire No. lw 2a Block, Block XV, Omapere Survey District. (S.O. plan 32481.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2812A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2898, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1942.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out in Block XV, Omapere Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of sections four hundred and seventy-eight and four hundred and eighty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section four hundred and seventy-eight of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:
