PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

Declaring Crown Land in the Auckland Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as “the said land”) is Crown land not acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, but is adjacent to certain land acquired under the said Act, and known as the Rewi Settlement and can conveniently be disposed of therewith:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and five of the said Act, and on the recommendation of the Land Settlement Board, and after considering the report of the Auckland District Land Board, do hereby declare the said land to be subject to the said Act, to the intent that it shall hereupon be deemed to be portion of the said Rewi Settlement and may be disposed of accordingly.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Sections 1 and 2, Block XV, Hapuakohe Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 7·1 perches.
