The Holidays Legislation Modification Order 1941, Variation No. 4.
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows :—

This Order may be cited as the Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941, Variation No. 4.

This Order shall be read together with and deemed part of the Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”).

The principal Order is varied as follows, namely :—
The provisions of the principal Order shall not apply to the workers coming within the scope of the awards specified in the following Schedule, namely :—

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades.
Office of Director of Internal Marketing,
Wellington, 27th April, 1942.
PURSUANT to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons of Fancy Grade and Commercial Grade respectively, delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices are fixed on an average basic price of 7s. 6d. for sufficient fruit which when cured will pack a bushel case.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st May to 31st May, 1942—
Loose packed fresh lemons, Fancy Grade .. 5 6
Loose packed fresh lemons, Commercial Grade .. 4 6

Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the Armed Forces.

IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—

Lionel Fredrick Vemed Persen, Motor Mechanic, 106 Huia Road, Point Chevalier, Auckland, Registration No. 621089,
Jack Fredric Nicholson, Jockey, 10 Pitt Street, Gisborne, Registration No. 623067,
Albert George Hansen, Farm Labourer, Duthie Road, Eltham, Registration No. 622739,
Lewis Edward Henry Putt, Farm Labourer, care of W. E. Taylor, Alton, Registration No. 623950, and
Wilfred James Mahalm, Transport Driver, 70 Merivale Lane, Fendalton, Christchurch, Registration No. 619487,
notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed Forces, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a division of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.
