Crown Land set apart for a Gravel-pit in Block XXI, Shotover Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a gravel-pit; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two..

Situated in Block XXI, Shotover Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 2320.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112180, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1942.

Revoking a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land for a Gravel-pit in Block XXI, Shotover Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 33 of the twenty-sixth day of the same month at page 898, setting apart Crown land for a gravel-pit in Block XXI, Shotover Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1942.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Springs County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 29th day of April, 1942.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve vested in the Springs County Council for gravel-pit purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Springs County Council has duly consented to such cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Springs County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 1049, Block II, Leeston Survey District: Area, 5 acres, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint.

Timothy Harrison,

to be the Te Awanga Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto: and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. E. V. Simpson, Te Awanga, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a public school.
