Appointment of Acting-Governor of the Reserve Bank.

Appointment of Inspector of Sea-fishing.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
William Ernest Fell, of Chatham Islands, to be an Inspector of Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the first-mentioned Act.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Appointment of a Deputy Member of an Armed Forces Appeal Board.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by Regulation 23 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, has been pleased to appoint Daniel Dwyer, of Wanganui, to be a Deputy Member of No. 3 Armed Forces Appeal Board with headquarters at Wanganui, in lieu of Thomas Edward Trask, deceased, the said Daniel Dwyer to hold and exercise the duties of office during pleasure.

Appointment of Inspector of Dangerous Drugs.

PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (1) of section 12 of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1927,
Bernard Stratford Howard Ward, an officer of the Department of Health, is hereby authorized to enter the premises of any person carrying on the business of a producer, manufacturer, seller, or distributor of any dangerous drugs, and to demand the production of and to inspect any books or documents relating to dealings in any such drugs, and to inspect, weigh, measure, and record the stocks of any such drugs.
