ERRATUM.—The page of New Zealand Gazette No. 44, dated Friday, 24th April, 1942, which is numbered “1319” should bear the number “1317.”

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Greymouth.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Nelson-Greymouth Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Greymouth Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 1 rood.

Being portion of Railway land, formerly part Reserve 50, Town of Greymouth; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XII, Greymouth Survey District, Borough of Greymouth. (S.O. 4297.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6793, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1942.

Stopping Government Road in Block X, Kairanga Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 2 acres 0 roods 5·44 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 1565 and Lot 2 on D.P. 7073, being part Section 1564.

Situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 20894.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113906, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1942.

Portions of Streets closed for Defence Purposes in the Borough of Tauranga.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto are hereby closed for defence purposes; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of streets closed:—

0 3. 1·6 Lots 352, 353, 354, 355, 361, 362, 367, 368, and 369 of Section 1, Town of Tauranga.

Situated in Block X, Tauranga Survey District (Borough of Tauranga). (S.O. 14731A.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 24201, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of April, 1942.
