Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Road in Blocks III, V, VI, and VIII, Paekakariki Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 56 of the third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at page 2053, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3118, taking land for road in Blocks III, V, VI, and VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 3·09 perches.

Being part Lot 97, D.P. 8977, being part Waimapihi Block.

Situated in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110607, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1942.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 9 acres 1 rood 2 perches.

Being part Section 49, Square 159.

Situated in Block IX, Oparara Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9212.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110432, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1942.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of April, 1942.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be Government road: 37·2 perches.

Adjoining part Lot 1, D.P. 3159, being part Section 99, Waitara West District.

Situated in Block III, Paritutu Survey District. (S.O. 7887.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108650, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Order in Council constituting Wellington Fire District amended.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of April, 1942.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made under the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, dated the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the Gazette of the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, a united fire district called the Wellington Fire District was constituted:

And whereas the said Order in Council prescribed that the number of members to be elected to represent the local authorities whose districts are within the united fire district as aforesaid shall be two:

And where it is deemed expedient to amend the said Order in Council in manner hereinafter appearing:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby prescribe that the number of members to be elected to represent the local authorities whose districts are within the united fire district as aforesaid shall be three, and the said Order in Council is hereby amended accordingly.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Golf Road Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Waitemata County Council

to be the Golf Road Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of the Waitemata County Council, corner of Shortland and Princes Street, Auckland, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

GOLF ROAD DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALLOTMENT 464, Parish of Waikomiti: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 34 perches, more or less.
