NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above will be held at the office of the Kaitaia Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Kaitaia, at 12 noon on Saturday, the 11th day of April, 1942, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the society disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the society and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE OF ONE PENNY FARTHING (1½d.) IN THE POUND (£) AS SECURITY FOR DRAINAGE EXTENSION LOAN, 1941, OF £70,000.
—
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £70,000, authorized to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned Act, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny farthing (1½d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the district, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first (1st) day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board on Monday, the 16th day of March, 1942.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE OF ONE PENNY HALF-PENNY (1½d.) IN THE POUND (£) AS SECURITY FOR THE DUNEDIN CITY CONVERSION LOAN REPAYMENT LOAN, 1942, OF £216,500.
—
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £216,500, authorized to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying portion of the City of Dunedin Conversion Loan, 1934, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny halfpenny (1½d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the said city; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first (1st) day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of one year in respect of Part I of £69,400, two years in respect of Part II of £72,100, and three years in respect of Part III of £75,000, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, the 16th day of March, 1942.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS TO PROVE.
The liquidator of The South Seas Fishing Company, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, hereby fixes the 14th day of April, 1942, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
