Excluding Land from the Patea Development Scheme.

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes the notice dated the 30th day of September, 1937, and published in Gazette No. 67 of the 7th day of October, 1937, at page 115, whereby the provisions of Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, were applied to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Excluding Land from the Heretaunga Development Scheme.

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the llth day of August, 1931, and published in Gazette No. 61 of the 20th day of the same month at page 2326, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said pieces of land, and such pieces of land are hereby excluded from the Heretaunga Development Scheme.

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Deputy of the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed William Kane, of the Public Trust Office, Christchurch, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Christchurch, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.
