Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the Armed Forces.

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to--

Norman James Adamson, Farm Labourer, 66 Stanley Avenue, Palmerston North, Registration No. 621934,
Norman Nancarrow Gee, Turner, 82 Molesworth Street, New Plymouth, Registration No. 620987,
James Bryan Nevin, Farm Labourer, Hurleyville, Registration No. 623723,
Raymond Frederick Wilson, Fisherman, Gresson Street, Greymouth, Registration No. 623724,

notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed Forces, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a division of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Excluding Land from the Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme.

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 30th day of June, 1933, and published in Gazette No. 50 of the 13th day of July, 1933, at page 1902, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE.

All that area of land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District containing 5 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, called or known as Aruhemokopuna A 1, being portion of the land known as Aruhemokopuna 2, and situated in the Waiapu Survey District.

Excluding Land from the Te Kaha Development Scheme.

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 13th day of January, 1932, and published in Gazette No. 6 of the 21st day of the same month at page 115, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Te Kaha Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE.

All that area of land in the Waiau Native Land Court District containing 6 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less, called or known as Te Kaha B 6r 1, and situate in Block V, Te Kaha Survey District.
