CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE FOR CONVERSION LOAN,
1935 : REDEMPTION LOAN, 1941, OF £621,978.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:--
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of six hundred and twenty-one thousand
nine hundred and seventy-eight pounds (£621,978) for the
purpose of redeeming the debentures of the Christchurch
City Conversion Loan, 1935, the said Christchurch City
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny
and fifty-seven thousand two hundred and twenty-three
three hundred and twelve thousand five-hundredths
of a penny (1⅝½⅓d.) in the pound on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirteen (13) years or until the
loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE FOR WATERWORKS
LOAN, 1941, OF £15,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000),
authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing
an additional water-main to serve as an extra connection
between the main Pumping-station and the City, the said
Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of three one hundred and twenty-fifths of a penny
(1⅜d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within
the City of Christchurch ; and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.
