Members' Voluntary Winding Up.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of A. O. SMITH, LTD. (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company by resolution passed on the 18th day of December, 1941, went into voluntary liquidation and appointed the undersigned as liquidator.
All persons, firms, or corporations having any claims against the above company are hereby required on or before the 23rd January, 1942, to lodge proof of same.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of sections 232 and 275 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at 99 Lower High Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 30th day of January, 1942, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid down before them showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, section 222, and in the matter of PUKUWEKA SAWMILLS, LTD. (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on Monday, the 22nd day of December, 1941, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:
"That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue its business and that it is advisable to wind it up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily."
At the said meeting Roy Owen HADDON, of Palmerston North, Public Accountant, was appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on Monday, the 22nd day of December, 1941, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:
"That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue its business and that it is advisable to wind it up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily."

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Rural Housing Act, 1939, and all amendments thereto respectively, the Coromandel County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of financing the erection of dwellings for farmers and farm workers, the said Coromandel County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Coromandel on the basis of the capital value; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off."
Proposed by Councillor C. C. Rae, seconded by Councillor A. Watkins, and carried.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Coromandel County Council held in the Council Chambers on the 17th day of December, 1941, and as appearing in the minutes or such meeting.

In the matter of MEACHEN MOTORS, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).
PURSUANT to section 232 (2) of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that the final meeting of the company will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, the 29th January, 1942, in the liquidator's office, National Bank Buildings, Jackson Street, Petone. The object of the meeting will be to receive the account of the realization and distribution of assets.
