BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waimakariri River in line with the centre of the road fronting Rural Section 7449, Block VI, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding thence easterly generally down the middle of the said Waimakariri River to Stewart’s Gully; thence north-easterly down the middle of Stewart’s Gully aforesaid and south-easterly down the middle of the said Waimakariri River again to the sea; thence southerly generally along mean high-water mark of the sea to a point in line with the southern side of Beach Road, being a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch hereinbefore described; thence generally in a westerly direction along that boundary to its junction with the northern boundary of the Riccarton Borough; thence proceeding westerly, northerly, southerly, and south-easterly generally along that boundary to the said north-western boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the Heathcote River near the southernmost corner of Rural Section 159; thence north-westerly along the centre of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 146, 156, 211, 240, and 108 respectively; thence westerly along the centre of the road forming the northern boundaries of the said Rural Section 108 and of Rural Sections 160, 389, Reserve 79 (Racecourse), and Rural Section 1155 respectively; thence north-easterly along the centre of the road forming the north-western boundaries of Rural Sections 1226, 1209, 1236, 1089, 1714, 3282, 4414, 2354, 58, 2780, and Reserve 323, intersecting Reserve 946, and forming the western boundaries of Rural Sections 4326 and 7449 to the point of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE STYX RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of Waimairi County hereinbefore described, being the intersection of a line in continuation of the centre of Ford Road and the said boundary; thence north-easterly and easterly along the northern boundary of the said Waimairi County to the sea; thence southerly along the mean high-water mark of the sea to a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence westerly along that boundary, to and across Racecourse Road, and along the centre of Beach Road to Frost’s Road; thence north-westerly and westerly along the centre of Frost’s Road, Bottle Lake Road, and Preston’s Road to Grimsey Road; thence northerly along the centre of Grimsey Road to the River Styx; thence easterly and northerly along the centre of the River Styx and Kapuatone Creek to the south-western corner of Rural Section 589; thence along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Rural Section 419 to the centre of the North Road; thence south-westerly along the centre of the North Road to a point opposite the southern corner of Rural Section 430; thence north-easterly along the centre of a road along the western boundary of Rural Section 430 to the centre of Ford Road; thence north-westerly along the centre of that road and its production thereof to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE AVON RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the centre of Westminster Street at its junction with Shirley Road; thence north-easterly generally along the centre of Westminster Street and Hills Road to the centre of Briggs Road; thence easterly along the centre of that road and Horseshoe Lake Road to the centre of Lake Terrace Road; thence northerly along the centre of Bottle Lake Road to the centre of Travis Road; thence easterly along the centre of that road to the centre of Frost’s Road; thence northerly along the centre of that road to the centre of Beach Road; thence easterly along the centre of that road to and across Racecourse Road to a point at the intersection of the southern side of Beach Road with the eastern side of Racecourse Road aforesaid, a point being on the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence south-westerly generally along that boundary to the centre of Westminster Street, the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE MARSHLANDS RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point at the intersection of the centre of Preston’s Road and the centre of Grimsey Road; thence easterly along the centre of Preston’s Road to the centre of Bottle Lake Road; thence southerly along the centre of that road to the centre of Frost’s Road; thence south-easterly generally along the centre of that road to the centre of Travis Road; thence westerly along the centre of that road to the centre of Bottle Lake Road; thence southerly along the centre of that road to the centre of Lake Terrace Road; thence westerly generally along the centre of that road, Horseshoe Lake Road, and Briggs Road to the centre of Hills Road; thence southerly along the centre of that road to the centre of Westminster Street; thence south-westerly along the centre of that street to the northern boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence westerly along that boundary to the south-western boundary of Rural Section 1048; thence along the south-western and north-western boundary of the said Rural Section 1048 to the intersection of the centre of Winter’s Road and Grimsey Road; thence northerly along the centre of Grimsey Road aforesaid to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE FENDALTON RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the centre of the River Avon and the production of the centre of Dean’s Avenue; thence southerly along that production to the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence easterly and north-westerly generally along that boundary to its intersection with the centre of Ilam Road; thence westerly and south-westerly along the centre of that road to the centre of Kirkwood Avenue; thence easterly along the centre of that avenue to the boundary of the Borough of Riccarton; thence generally in an easterly direction along that boundary to the point of commencement.
FOURTH SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded on the south-west, west, north, and east generally by the City of Christchurch hereinbefore described, and on the south-east by the estuary of the Heathcote and Avon Rivers.
Also all that area bounded towards the north generally by the City of Christchurch from a point on the left bank of the Heathcote River at the southernmost corner of the said City of Christchurch to the estuary of the Heathcote River aforesaid; thence across that river and easterly by the said estuary to a point on the foreshore of McCormack’s Bay due west of the northernmost corner of Lot 61, plan 3565, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch; thence along a right line due east to the said northernmost corner of Lot 61, plan 3565, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Sumner; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the northern boundary of the Borough of Lyttelton; thence south-westerly generally along that boundary to the north-western corner of the said Borough of Lyttelton and by the summit of the Port Hills to the southernmost corner of part Rural Section 452; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said part Rural Section 452 and by Worsley’s Track running through Rural Sections 493 and 10210, along the south-western boundary of Rural Sections 31363, 31362, 2063, and the west and north-eastern boundary of Reserve 3504, and through Rural Section 383 to the north-eastern corner thereof; thence northerly by a right line to a point on the left bank of the Heathcote River at the southernmost corner of the City of Christchurch, the point of commencement.
FIFTH SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE AVONSIDE RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point at the intersection of the eastern boundary of Lot 7, on deposited plan 2607, with the southern side of Avonside Drive, being a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally along that boundary to a point in line with the north-western side of Page’s Road; thence south-westerly to and along the said north-western side of that road to a point opposite the north-eastern corner of Lot 9 on deposited plan 2698; thence across Page’s Road aforesaid and south-westerly and northerly generally along the boundary of the City of Christchurch to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE BROMLEY RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the intersection of the eastern boundary of Lot 9, on deposited plan 2698, with the south-eastern side of Page’s Road, being a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence northerly across Page’s Road and north-easterly along its north-western side and the production thereof to the left bank of the River Avon, being the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence southerly and south-westerly generally along
