Major K. N. Todd, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is posted to Mobilization Camp, Trentham, for instructional duties. Dated 6th January, 1942.
Major G. F. Bertrand, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is posted to Papakura Camp for instructional duties. Dated 6th January, 1942.
Major C. J. Williams, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is posted to the Army School of Instruction, Trentham, for instructional duties. Dated 6th January, 1942.
Major M. de R. Petrie, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is appointed Weapon Training Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 6th January, 1942.
Major C. F. McAllum, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is appointed Brigade Transport Officer, 7th N.Z. Infantry Brigade Group. Dated 8th January, 1942.
Captain P. G. Monk, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is appointed General Staff Officer, 3rd Grade (M.T. 1), Army Headquarters, Wellington. Dated 6th January, 1942.
Captain W. H. Werohia, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is posted to Papakura Camp for instructional duties. Dated 6th January, 1942.
Captain G. H. Weir, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is attached for duty to the Adjutant-General’s Branch, Army Headquarters, Wellington. Dated 7th January, 1942.
Captain H. J. Dalzell, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is posted to Mobilization Camp, Trentham, for instructional duties. Dated 23rd January, 1942.

W.O. I (Staff Sergeant-Major) William Robert Chaplain Whyte to be Lieutenant and Quartermaster (temp.), and is appointed Instructor, Southern Military District School of Instruction, Burnham. Dated 12th September, 1941.

Major G. J. Howcroft, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Company Commander, No. 2 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Papakura, and is appointed Brigade Major, 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade. Dated 1st December, 1941.
Major G. J. Howcroft, M.C., Brigade Major, 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade, is granted the pay and allowances of a Major while so employed. Dated 13th January, 1942.
Captain W. R. Pigou is appointed Chief Instructor, Armoured Fighting Vehicles School, Waiouru, and is granted the temporary rank of Major while so employed. Dated 22nd December, 1941.
Captain W. P. P. Gordon, M.B., Ch.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, to be Captain (temp.), and is attached for duty with the Senior Medical Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 19th January, 1942.
Lieutenant F. W. Mothes, M.B.E., ceases to be attached to the Sick and Wounded Branch, Army Headquarters, Wellington, is appointed New Zealand Military Liaison Officer, Sydney, and is granted the temporary rank of Major at 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force (overseas) rate of pay. Dated 1st November, 1941.
Lieutenant J. N. Crawford relinquishes the appointment of Company Commander, No. 4 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and is appointed assistant to the Ordnance Officer (Provision), Main Ordnance Depot, Trentham. Dated 17th December, 1941.
Lieutenant D. G. Wallace, M.B., Ch.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, to be Major (temp.), and is attached for duty with the Senior Medical Officer, Mobilization Camp, Burnham. Dated 12th December, 1941.
Lieutenant P. Barcham ceases to be attached to the staff of the Chief Signals Officer, Army Headquarters, is appointed Officer in Charge, Signals Experimental Establishment, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 9th January, 1942.
Lieutenant N. McL. Richards ceases to be attached to Pay, Accounts, and Base Records Office, Wellington, and is appointed Field Cashier, 7th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, Masterton. Dated 13th January, 1942.
2nd Lieutenant J. P. Monaghan, Officer in Charge of a Guard, Vital Points, Area No. 11, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 14th January, 1942.
John Albert Barker to be Lieutenant (temp.), and is appointed Mechanical Transport Equipment Officer, Southern Military District, Christchurch. Dated 16th January, 1942.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) A. K. Furrie, 1st Battalion, The Wellington West Coast Regiment, to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is appointed General Staff Officer, 3rd Grade, Area No. 6, Wanganui. Dated 15th January, 1942.
Philip North Holloway to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is appointed Instructor in Fieldcraft, Tank Fighting, and Weapon Training, Central District School of Instruction, Dannevirke. Dated 15th January, 1942.
2nd Lieutenant A. Gandy, Assistant to the Mechanical Transport Technical Officer, Waiouru Military Camp, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 13th January, 1942.
THE 1ST LIGHT ARMOURED FIGHTING VEHICLE REGIMENT (CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY).

Lieutenant-Colonel R. S. McQuarrie, D.S.O., M.C., relinquishes his appointment in the N.Z. Temporary Staff, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 5. Dated 3rd January, 1942.
Major (temp.) W. N. Pharazyn, M.C., relinquishes his appointment in the N.Z. Temporary Staff, is reposted to the N.Z. Artillery, and seconded for duty with the New Zealand Minister in Washington, and granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel at 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force (overseas) rate of pay whilst so employed. Dated 17th January, 1942.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) H. Palmer, 12th Field Regiment, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant Dated 1st October, 1941.
