IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Revoking a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land for Road in Block
XVI, Maramarua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the first day of
July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the third day of the same month at page
2050, setting apart Crown land for road in Block XVI, Maramarua
Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1942.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of Road in Blocks X and XI,
Waitemata Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Brigham's
Creek-Hobsonville Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a
portion of road desired to be constructed over Blocks X and XI,
Waitemata Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Brigham's
Creek - Hobsonville Main Highway—shall be that defined and set
forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Brigham's Creek – Hobsonville Main
Highway near the south-eastern corner of Lot 27 of Allotment 2,
Parish of Waipareira, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly
direction generally for a distance of approximately 78 chains and
passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz. :
Allotment 426, Parish of Waipareira, part Lot 28, part Lot 33, Lot 2
on D.P. 6750, Lots 47 and 50, being subdivisions of Allotment 2,
Parish of Waipareira, part Lot 2 on D.P. 9613, Lots 33, 32, 31, 30,
29, and 28 on D.P. 8956, being portions of Allotment 12, Parish of
Waipareira, and terminating at a point on the aforesaid Main
Highway near the south-eastern corner of Lot 23 on D.P. 8956,
including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the
North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 115744, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 24th day of November, 1942.

and V, Mount Fyffe Survey District, shall be protected.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section two
hundred and seven of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
portions of the banks of the Hapuku River, described in the Schedule
hereto, shall be protected.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those portions of the banks of the Hapuku River situated in
the County of Kaikoura, being parts Sections 57, 52, and 58, Block II,
Mount Fyffe Survey District (edged yellow), also parts Manga-
maunu Native Block, Block V, Mount Fyffe Survey District, being
part Section 12 of 2A (edged blue), part Section 13 of 2A (edged
green), part Section 14 of 2A (edged red), also part Native Reserve
1c 2, Block V, Mount Fyffe Survey District (edged purple), also
parts Block V, Mount Fyffe Survey District, being parts Sections 54
and 49 (edged green), and part Section 60 (edged brown).

In the Nelson Land District. As the same are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114325, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 24th day of November, 1942.

The Military Manœuvres Act, 1915.—Declaring that certain Lands
shall be available for Military Manœuvres.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by
section two of the Military Manœuvres Act, 1915, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the
Schedule hereto shall, as from the date of this Proclamation, and
thereafter during the present war or until this Proclamation shall
be revoked, be available for military manœuvres under the said
Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at the junction of
the south bank of the Manawatu River with the sea and proceeding
thence generally easterly following the south bank of the Manawatu
River to a point opposite the northern boundary of Section 1,
Block XI, Mount Robinson Survey District, and from thence by a
right line to the junction of the Mauriceville, Eketahuna, and
Horowhenua Counties; thence following the northern boundary
of the Mauriceville County to its junction with the State Highway
between Eketahuna and Greytown; thence proceeding generally
southwards following the western boundary of that highway to
the northern boundary of the Featherston County; thence pro-
ceeding westward generally by a right line through Paekakariki
Trig. Station to the sea; thence following the sea-coast to the
point of commencement, being portions of the Counties of Horo-
whenua, Mauriceville, Masterton, Wairarapa South, Featherston,
and Hutt.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of November, 1942.
