Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officer under the Child Welfare Act, 1925.

IN pursuance of section 2 of the Child Welfare Act, 1925, I, Henry Greathead Rex Mason, Minister of Education, do hereby appoint the following person as Honorary Child Welfare Officer for the purposes of the said Act for the period ending the 31st December, 1941:—

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940—Appointment of a Deputy Member of an Armed Forces Appeal Board.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, has been pleased to appoint Andrew Purves Melville, of Fordell, Farmer, to be a Deputy Member of No. 3 Armed Forces Appeal Board with headquarters at Wanganui, in lieu of Francis Strachan Goldingham, the said Andrew Purves Melville to hold and exercise the duties of office during pleasure.

Appointment of Officers under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed

John James Norris, of New Plymouth, and
Kenneth Stewart Williams, of New Plymouth,

to be officers for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the Taranaki Acclimatization District.
