by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order
and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Nelson
Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act,
and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Mawheraiti
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with
as a public domain.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 6 acres 0 roods
10 perches, more or less, being Section 17 and part Section 8,
Block III, Mawheraiti Survey District, and bounded as
follows: On the north-east by other part of Section 8 afore-

the north by a public road, towards the east by part Piha
Block, and towards the south and west generally by the
Piha Stream.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from
and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Kohukohu
Town Board, in trust, for municipal purposes.
