A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estates and interests of Neil Grant, of Auckland, Engine-driver, Laurence Harbutt, of Cremorne, New South Wales, Land-agent, Grace Annabelle Winstone, wife of Frank Winstone, of Auckland, Merchant, Helier Harbutt, of Bowral, New South Wales, Builder, Percy Hawea Harbutt, of Sydney, New South Wales, Bruce Jennings Harbutt, of Auckland, Builder, Lucy Gray, wife of Edward Duncan Gray, of Sydney, New South Wales, Ship Chandler, Sophie Harbutt, of Mount Barker, Western Australia, Widow, and Flora Low, wife of David Low, of Auckland, Painter, in the land described in the Schedule hereto being a grant of right-of-way created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 206781, Auckland Registry, are hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Housing Purposes in the Boroughs of Gore and Winton and the Edendale Town District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75 of the eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at page 2788, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Invercargill as No. 1834, taking land for housing purposes in the Boroughs of Gore and Winton and in the Edendale Town District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required : 1 rood 0.8 perches.

Being Lot 6, D.P. 2151, being part Section 51.

Situated in Block XVI, Town of Gore (Borough of Gore) Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5547.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110354, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 19th day of November, 1941.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby grant to George Shand Earp, of Opotiki, Dairy-farmer (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), a license subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth to take and use from an unnamed stream situated in Section 329, Waioeka Parish, Block XII, Opotiki Survey District, in the Land District of Gisborne, for the purposes hereinafter set forth a stream of water not exceeding one-third of a cubic foot per second at any one time.

CONDITIONS.

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Water-power Regulations 1934, and the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
