The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 83, dated 23rd October, 1941, relative to the appointment of James Alexander Guild, is hereby cancelled, and the following substituted :—
“James Alexander Guild to be Major (temp.), and is appointed Deputy Group Director, Group 10, Christchurch. Dated 1st August, 1941.”

William George Dalzell to be Lieutenant (temp.), and is appointed Section Commander, No. 20 Company, Nelson. Dated 29th October, 1941.
Lieutenant (temp.) C. B. Hodgson, Section Commander, No. 20 Company, Nelson, is appointed Second in Command of the Company, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 29th October, 1941.
Lieutenant (temp.) R. C. Neville, Section Commander, No. 23 Company, Christchurch, is appointed Second in Command of the Company, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 29th October, 1941.
