Public Trust Office.—Alteration and reconstitution of Local Districts.

WHEREAS by section 2 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, it is enacted that the Public Trustee may, by notice in the Gazette, from time to time establish and define, abolish, alter, and reconstitute local districts for the purpose of the said Act: And whereas, in pursuance of the said power, a notice establishing and defining the local districts to be controlled by the several District Public Trustees as set out therein was published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 13th April, 1922: And whereas a further notice, in pursuance of the said power, was published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15th February, 1934, altering and reconstituting the local districts controlled by the respective District Public Trustees for Hamilton and New Plymouth: And whereas it has become expedient to again alter and reconstitute the said local districts: Now,

therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the before-mentioned power, I, Everett Olive Hales, the Public Trustee for the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter and reconstitute the said local districts as set out hereunder:—

LOCAL DISTRICTS OF HAMILTON AND NEW PLYMOUTH.

The following area has been removed from the control of the District Public Trustee for New Plymouth and placed under the control of the District Public Trustee for Hamilton: All that area situated in the Waitomo County, in the Auckland Land District, comprising Blocks I, V, X, and XI of the Awakino East Survey District, and those portions of Blocks VI and VII of the said survey district lying to the south of the Awakino – Te Kuiti Road and the Ngatarawa Road.

Given under the hand and Seal of the Public Trustee, this 7th day of November, 1941.
