Declaration by the General Manager of the Government Railways Department postponing regrading the First Division of the Railways Department.
IN accordance with the provision of the Government Service Grading Emergency Regulations 1941, I, Eugene Casey, General Manager of Railways, hereby declare that the regrading directed to be made by section 8 of the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1927, is postponed until such time as may be fixed for such regrading to be undertaken by notice given under the aforesaid regulations by the General Manager of Railways and published in the Gazette, being a time not later than two years after the termination of the state of war now existing.

Declaration by the Public Service Commissioner postponing regrading in the Public Service.
IN accordance with the provisions of the Government Service Grading Emergency Regulations 1941, I, John Henry Boyes, Public Service Commissioner, hereby declare that notwithstanding anything contained in section 17 of the Public Service Act, 1912, whereby the Public Service Commissioner is directed to regrade the officers therein referred to at intervals of not more than five years, such regrading is postponed until such time as may be fixed for such regrading to be undertaken by notice given under the aforesaid regulations by the Commissioner and published in the Gazette, being a time not later than two years after the termination of the state of war now existing.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Timaru Waterside Tally Clerks’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1534, situated at Timaru, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.
