Administration of Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, in Patangata County.—(Notice No. Ag. 3891.)

THE following resolution, passed by the Patangata County Council on the 14th day of October, 1941, is published in accordance with the provisions of section 7 (2) of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1934.
RESOLUTION.
“1. That this Council hereby agrees to take over the control of noxious weeds within the county boundaries, as on and from the 14th day of October, 1941.
“2. That the County Engineer, Mr. J. C. McLauchlan, be and is hereby appointed Chief Inspector, and the County Foreman, Mr. J. F. McCarthy, be and is hereby appointed Assistant Inspector.”

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Taranaki Public Accountants’ Employees Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1586, situated at New Plymouth, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Building Construction Control Notice No. 3, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the Supply Control Emergency Regulations 1939, and the Building Emergency Regulations 1939, I hereby require and direct as follows :—
- Every person who owns or holds any screwed steel conduit, whether galvanized, sherardized, lacquered, enamelled, or covered with any other protective coating, shall not later than the 26th day of November, 1941, forward to the Building Controller, P.O. Box 3005, Wellington, a statement setting out the following particulars in relation thereto :—
(a) Details of the quantity held in each size or type ;
(b) If the conduit is held against the requirements of any particular contract or contracts, the name of each contract and the quantity of conduit in the various sizes and types so held against each contract ;
(c) The approximate total quantity of conduit in the various sizes and types required to complete each such contract ;
(d) The anticipated date of completion of each such contract ;
(e) The name of the Electric-power Supply Authority for the district in which each such contract is being carried out.
- For the purposes of this notice “person” includes a corporation sole, and also a body of persons whether corporate or unincorporate.

Building Construction Control Notice No. 4, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the Supply Control Emergency Regulations 1939, and the Building Control Emergency Regulations 1939, I hereby require and direct as follows :—
- Every person who owns or holds any round mild steel reinforcing rods shall not later than the 26th day of November, 1941, forward to the Building Controller, P.O. Box 3005, Wellington, a statement setting out the following particulars in relation thereto :—
(a) Details of the various sizes and the quantity (expressed in tons) in each size ;
(b) If the steel is held against the requirements of any particular contract or contracts, the name of each contract and the quantity of steel in the various sizes so held against each such contract ;
(c) The estimated monthly requirements of reinforcing rods for each such contract ;
(d) The approximate total weight of reinforcing steel required to complete each such contract ;
(e) The anticipated date of completion of each such contract.
- For the purposes of this notice “person” includes a corporation sole, and also a body of persons whether corporate or unincorporate.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Horohoro and Peka Development Schemes respectively.
