Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Blocks III and VI, Kumeu Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Kaipara–Waikato Railway, Kumeu–Helensville section, and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
