Arthur Cecil West to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is posted to the 2nd Motor Ambulance Convoy. Dated 1st October, 1941.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Major J. H. H. Wood, M.B., Ch.B., 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while carrying out the duties of Senior Medical Officer, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated 1st October, 1941.

Captain S. J. Thompson, M.B., Ch.B., ceases to be attached to the Manawatu Mounted Rifles, is seconded to the Royal N.Z. Air Force, and is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 1st August, 1941.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster A. Roberts, D.C.M., M.M., 12th Field Ambulance, is granted the temporary rank of Captain and Quartermaster. Dated 21st August, 1941.

MEMORANDUM.

Major W. D. S. Johnston, E.D., M.D., N.Z. Medical Corps, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force, performed the duties of Senior Medical Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, from 19th August, 1941, to 20th September, 1941.

Staff Nurse (temp. Sister) M. E. Gilmer ceases to be employed at the Waiouru Military Camp Hospital, is seconded to the Royal N.Z. Air Force for duty at the Royal N.Z. Air Force Station Hospital, Lovin, and retains the temporary rank of Sister. Dated 2nd September, 1941.
