resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council
on the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-one, viz :—

“The New Plymouth Borough Council, being the
local authority having control of the streets in the
Borough of New Plymouth, by resolution declares that
the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight
subsection one of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall
not apply to the northern side and north-western side
of the portion of Poti Street adjoining Lots 55 and 58,
Deeds Plan 7, being part of Section 32, Fitzroy District,
Town of New Plymouth, Certificate of Title, Volume 123,
folio 142, Taranaki Registry ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern
and north-western sides of the portion of Poti Street (described
in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE northern and north-western sides of all that portion of
street, situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of
New Plymouth, known as Poti Street, fronting Lots 55 and
58, Deeds Plan 7, being part Section 32, Fitzroy District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 112347, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Waikanae-Waimea
Main Highway (Moana Road), in the County of Horo-
whenua, exempted from the provisions of Section 128 of
the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the
Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of
October, 1941.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Horowhenua County Council, in so
far as it affects the side and portion of road described in the
Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“That the Horowhenua County Council, being the
local authority having control of the roads in the County
of Horowhenua, by resolution this twelfth day of Sep-

tember, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one,
declares that the provisions of section one hundred and
twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to that portion of Moana Road, adjoining part
Section 35, Ngarara West A, Block IX, Kaitawa Survey
District, being the whole of the land in Certificate of
Title, 269/91 ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-
western side of the portion of Waikanae-Waimea Main
Highway (Moana Road) (described in the Schedule hereto),
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of
the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE south-western side of all that portion of road, situated
in the Wellington Land District, County of Horowhenua,
known as Waikanae-Waimea Main Highway (Moana Road),
fronting part of Subdivision 35 of Ngarara West A Block,
Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112369,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works
Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portion
of the Thames-Coromandel Main Highway (described in the
Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road situated in the Auckland Land
District, known as the Thames-Coromandel Main Highway
fronting Section 45, Block XI, Hastings Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 108971, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

certain Lands in the North Auckland Land District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
section thirty-four of the Statutes Amendment Act,
1940, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth
hereby declare that from and after the date hereof no mining
privileges shall be granted or transferred in respect of the
lands described in the Schedule hereto without the previous
written consent of the Minister of Mines.

FOR the purposes of section six of the Visiting Forces
Act, 1939, and in accordance with the terms of subsec-
tion five of that section, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby declare that the air forces of His Majesty raised in
New Zealand which are serving outside New Zealand during
or in respect of the present war shall be deemed to be serving
together and acting in combination with the air forces of
His Majesty raised in the United Kingdom.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 10th day of April, 1941.
