The lands described in the First Schedule are Crown lands
and are offered under the Land Act, 1924. The land described
in the Second Schedule is an Education Reserve, and is offered
under the Land Act, 1924, and the Education Reserves Act,
1928.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at
the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on 26th
November, 1941, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant
is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land
Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicants are
required to pay immediately at the conclusion of the ballot
a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period
rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LANDS.

Kaitieke County.—Piriaka Township.

SECTION 1, Block VI: Area, 1 rood 20·2 perches. Capital
value, £10; half-yearly rent, 5s.

This section, situated at the junction of Tuhua Terrace and
Taitua Street, Piriaka Township, comprises a good dry
building-site.

Section 1, Block X: Area, 2 roods 7·9 perches. Capital
value, £10; half-yearly rent, 5s.

Weighted with £67 10s. (payable in cash) for improvements,
comprising fencing, cottage, shed, felling, and grassing.

This section fronts Tuhua Terrace and Tuka and Tanoa
Streets, about half a mile from the Piriaka Post-office and
Railway-station. The ground is level and admirable for
residential purposes.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.

Kaitieke County.—Piriaka Township.

SECTIONS 3 and 12, Block V: Area, 2 roods. Half-yearly
rent, 5s.

Weighted with £2 (payable in cash) for felling.

This area fronts Tauoa Street (Section 3) and Taitua
Street (Section 12). The sections are somewhat low lying.
