Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the
Armed Forces.
National Service Department,
Wellington, 16th October, 1941.
IT is hereby notified for general information that, in
pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44
of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I
have this day issued to—

notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed
Forces, such persons having been severally convicted for
that, being reservists belonging to a division of the Reserve
the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail
to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of
the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National
Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License
under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
A N application has been received from Warma Woollies,
210a Tuam Street, Christchurch, for a license to com-
mence the manufacture of men’s, women’s, and children’s
wool-lined slippers and slipper-boots by the blake-stitch
method.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 30th October, 1941.

A N application has been received from R. H. Hyndman,
Picton, for a license to take fish for sale by means of a
40 ft. auxiliary vessel, using hand-lines, catches to be landed
at Picton.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 30th October, 1941.
