A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for irrigation purposes (Rangitata Diversion Race); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of linen-flax development (Geraldine Factory); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken: 61 acres 3 roods 20 perches.

Being Rural Sections 11564, 12445, and parts Rural Sections 14442 and 18169.

Situated in Blocks VI and X, Geraldine Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7391.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111888, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, orange, sepia, and edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1941.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 25 perches.

Being part Allotment 1, Whangarei Parish.

Situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District (Borough of Whangarei) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31419.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110048, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of October, 1941.

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 20712.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111949, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
