Additional Members appointed to the Willsher Bay Scenic Reserve Board.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of that month, the control of a certain reserve in the Otago Land District, known as the Willsher Bay Scenic Reserve, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Warrant constituted a special Board, by the name of the Willsher Bay Scenic Reserve Board, in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 :

And whereas it is desirable that the Chairman of the Clutha County Council, ex officio, and the member of the Clutha County Council representing the South Molyneux Riding, ex officio, should be appointed as additional members of the said Board :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint the said Chairman of the Clutha County Council, ex officio, and the member of the Clutha County Council representing the South Molyneux Riding, ex officio, to be additional members of the Willsher Bay Scenic Reserve Board constituted by the Warrant dated the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, hereinbefore referred to.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 29th day of September, 1941.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council changing the Purpose of the Reservation over Part of the New Lynn Domain, North Auckland Land District.

WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924 :

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is part of the New Lynn Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to change the purpose of the reservation over the said land to a site for a public pound :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the part of the New Lynn Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be a reserve for a site for a public pound.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PART OF NEW LYNN DOMAIN.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 363, Waikomiti Parish, Block III, Titirangi Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/606A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 32089s.)

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of September, 1941.
