A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919 I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF PAEROA.
SECTION 9, Block V, Paeroa Township: Area, 18 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1941.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CITY OF AUCKLAND.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 6·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 568 on Deposited Plan No. 21201, being part of Allotments 32 and 40A, District of Tamaki, comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 466, folio 83, Auckland Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 30/228/1/ “B,” deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1941.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land and Provisional State Forests as Permanent State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77 of the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at pages 1785 to 1790 inclusive, lands containing a total area of 414,013 acres in the Westland Land District were proclaimed as permanent State forests in terms of section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22:
And whereas errors were made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation and it is desirable that these errors be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby by way of amendment to the said Proclamation declare that for the first paragraph in the Schedule to the said Proclamation there shall be substituted the words set out in the First Schedule hereto, and for that portion of the said Schedule relating to an area containing approximately 111,577 acres there shall be substituted the words and description set out in the Second Schedule hereto: And I do hereby further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty, being the date on which the said Proclamation was intended to take effect.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Westland Land District containing 418,413 acres (provisional State forest 332,382 acres, and Crown land 86,031 acres) and described as follows:—
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area containing approximately 115,977 acres, being Provisional State Forest No. 1590 (Gazette 1919, page 1290, national-endowment provisional State forest, 8,336 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1593 (Gazette 1919, page 1290, national-endowment provisional State forest, 5,817 acres), Provisional State Forest No. 1693 (Gazette 1919, page 1284, ordinary provisional State forest, 51,650 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1594 (Gazette 1919, page 1290, national-endowment provisional State forest, 19,166 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1592 (Gazette 1920, page 2837, national-endowment provisional State forest, 9,375 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1591 (Gazette 1920, page 2837, national-endowment provisional State forest, 6,679 acres), and Crown land, 14,954 acres, situated in Block II, Punakaiki Survey District, Blocks I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Waiwhero Survey District, Blocks V, IX, X, and XIII, Maimai Survey District, Blocks I, II, V, VI, IX, X, and XIII, Mawhera-iti Survey District, Blocks I and II, Te Miko Survey District, and Blocks II and III, Mawhera-nui Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the most southern corner of Section 1, Block XIII, Maimai Survey District, and proceeding along the southern boundary of the said section and its production to the right bank of Rough River; thence southerly along the said bank to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block I, Mawhera-iti Survey District; thence to and along the said boundary, the south-western boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3, and the northern boundary of Section 2946; thence across a road, and southwards along the western side of the said road to Section 3170, Block X, Mawhera-iti Survey District; thence along the north-western boundaries of the said section and Sections 25, 24, 23, 22, and 180; thence northwards along a line being a production of the western boundary of Section 180 for 1400 links; thence westerly and northerly along lines parallel to and 500 links from a branch of Craigieburn Creek and from Craigieburn Creek to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 2762, Block IX, Mawhera-iti Survey District; thence to a point on the left bank of Craigieburn Creek in line with the south boundary of aforesaid Section 2762; thence northerly along the left bank of Craigieburn Creek to the northern boundary of Block IX, Mawhera-iti Survey District; thence westerly along the said northern boundary of Block IX, Mawhera-iti Survey District, to a point due north of the most western corner of Section 2762; thence due south to the said most western corner of Section 2762; thence along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that section to a point distant 500 links from the right bank of Craigieburn Creek; thence southerly along a line parallel to Craigieburn Creek to the northern boundary of Section 17, Block IX, Mawhera-iti Survey District; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 17, 16, and 15, a road reserve, Sections 14, 13, and 2922, Reserve 761, and part of Raupo Settlement, Block XIII, Mawhera-iti Survey District, to the most eastern corner of Section 15; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 15 and 14, a road reserve, again by Section 14 and by Section 17, all of Block XVI, Waiwhero Survey District, by a road reserve and Sections 16, 14, and 13, Block XII, Waiwhero Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of Section 3121, the eastern boundaries of said Section 3121 and Section 3167, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3300 and 3296, and a road reserve, and along the eastern side of said road reserve to the south boundary of Section 3340; thence along southern and eastern boundaries of said Section 33 ; thence along the north-eastern and northern boundaries Section 2991; thence along a production of the north boundary of Section 2991 to the right bank of the Big River; thence southerly along the right bank of the Big River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 16, Block XII, Waiwhero Survey District; thence to and along the northern and western boundaries of said Section 16 and the most western boundary of Section 15; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 12; thence along the northern and western boundaries of Section 12, a road reserve, again Section 12 and Section 11 to the southern boundary of Block XII, Waiwhero Survey District; thence westerly along the said block boundary for 3200 links, and due south to the northern boundary of Section 3139,
