The Education Board of the District of Wanganui.—Election
of One Member for the North Ward (Extraordinary Vacancy).

IT is hereby notified that at the election of a member of
the Board to fill the extraordinary vacancy for the
North Ward the number of votes recorded for each candidate
was as follows :—

John Ballance McKnight .. :. .. 9
Percy Wiltshire .. .. .. 98

The number of valid votes recorded was 183. The number
of votes rejected as informal was 4.

I hereby declare Percy Wiltshire duly elected as a member
of the Board for the North Ward.

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Amendment Act,
1935, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary
Committee of the New Zealand Law Society on the 17th
day of July, 1941, ordered that the name of Alexander
Cormack Jessep, of Wellington, be struck off the Rolls of
Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zea-
land, and that he pay ten guineas costs.

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Amendment Act,
1935, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary
Committee of the New Zealand Law Society on the 17th
day of July, 1941, ordered that the name of Richard Arnold
Singer, of Auckland, be struck off the Rolls of Barristers
and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and
that he pay twenty guineas costs.

Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the Armed
Forces.

National Service Department,
Wellington, 28th August, 1941.

IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pur-
suance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44
of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have
this day issued to—

Richard Hill, Miner, 66 Beresford Street, Auckland,
Registration No. 458790,
Clarence Levaine Wright, Motor-driver, 144 Hobson
Street, Auckland, Registration No. 456682, and
Norris Owen Dodd, Labourer, Lincoln, Registration
No. 450025,

notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed
Forces as being reservists of Class A of the First Division
of the General Reserve, such persons having been severally
convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a class of
the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed,
they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment
in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1)
of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Service with the Armed Forces, to report.

I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the
purposes of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the
said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who
have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the
respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.
