THE SOUTHLAND FARMERS’ LIME COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution.
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 29th day of July, 1941, the following special resolutions were passed:—
“ (1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
“ (2) That Mr. STANLEY WILLIAM JONES, of Invercargill, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of HAMILTONS (AUST. AND N.Z.), LIMITED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the Accountants’ Chambers, Johnston Street, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 6th day of August, 1941, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“ That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up.”
At the said meeting, and at a meeting of creditors held on the same day, FRANCIS HENRY KEMBER, Public Accountant, of Wellington, was appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

BOROUGH OF NEWMARKET.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and amendments thereto, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
Loan of £2,800.
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £2,800, authorized to be raised by the Newmarket Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the transfer of the area of land referred to in section 4 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1926, from Domain Board to Council, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny (¾d.) in the pound on the annual rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of E. MORRIS, LIMITED, a private company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908 (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that by an Order made by the Supreme Court of New Zealand on the 26th day of July, 1941, the voluntary winding up of E. Morris, Limited, was stayed altogether. The effect of this Order is that the voluntary winding-up proceedings will be discontinued and the said E. Morris, Limited, will continue in being, and will continue to carry on its business as jewellers at its registered office, High Street, Hawera.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Wanganui Co-operative Society, Limited, will be held on Thursday, the 21st day of August, 1941, at Room 7, Earles Buildings, Wanganui, at 8 p.m., at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the said society will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the offices of Messrs. Burnett and Brown, Solicitors, Ridgway Street, Wanganui, on Friday, the 22nd day of August, 1941, at 4.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the affairs of the society, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the society and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.
