Notice of Meeting of Creditors.
In the matter of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the Co-operative Fruitgrowers of Otago, Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Co-operative Fruitgrowers of Otago, Limited, will be held on Thursday, the 28th day of August, 1941, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the said society will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the Athenaeum Hall, Roxburgh, on Thursday, the 28th day of August, 1941, at 12 o’clock noon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the society’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the society and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Kawakawa, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kawakawa.

NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF ORDER AND MINUTE REDUCING CAPITAL.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of F. J. FARRELL, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court at Hamilton dated the 22nd day of July, 1941, confirming the reduction of capital of F. J. Farrell, Limited, together with a minute showing that the capital of the company is reduced from three thousand five hundred pounds (£3,500), divided into three thousand five hundred (3,500) shares of one pound (£1) each, to eight hundred and seventy-five pounds (£875) divided into three thousand five hundred (3,500) shares of five shillings (5s.) each, and that at the time of the registration of this minute the whole of the said shares have been issued and are fully paid, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 28th day of July, 1941.
