NOTICE is hereby given that the registries of the under-mentioned societies have been cancelled in pursuance of section 6 (a) (ii) of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1908 :—

DECLARATION BY ASSISTANT REGISTRAR DISSOLVING A SOCIETY.
I, ERNEST CLAUDE ADAMS, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare, as it has been made to appear to me that the Young Men’s Christian Association of Napier (Incorporated), is no longer in operation, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

LEWIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of LEWIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders of the above-named company held on the 10th day of July, 1941, it was resolved as follows:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. WILLIAM THORPE BRAY, of 47 King Street, Sydney, be appointed liquidator.”
Notice is further given that all persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 15th day of September, 1941, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution.
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, that by memorandum signed for the purpose of becoming an entry in its minute-book, signed as provided by subsections (1) and (3) of section 300 of the said Act, the above-named company on the 28th day of July, 1941, passed the following special resolution :—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That in pursuance of section 235 of the Companies Act, 1933, Mr. KENNETH HOWARD BAYLISS, of Hastings, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby nominated as liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the company will be held at the office of the liquidator, 207 Dilworth Building, Queen Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 20th day of August, 1941, at 10.30 a.m., for the purpose of laying before it the account of the winding up; and, further, that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held at 11 a.m. on the same day at the same place and for the same purpose.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of W. R. COOKE AND SON, LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office in the City of Christchurch.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court dated the 21st day of July, 1941, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £80,000 to £40,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above Statute, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 31st day of July, 1941. And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“The capital of W. R. Cooke and Son, Limited, henceforth is £40,000 divided into 80,000 ordinary shares of 10s. each, 68,000 of which are issued and are fully paid up and 12,000 of which are unissued. At the time of the registration of this minute each of the said 68,000 shares has been issued and is to be deemed to be fully paid up and 12,000 shares are unissued.”

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 241 of the Companies Act, 1933, a meeting of the members of Harbour View Gold-mines, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held at the office of the liquidator, 709 Dilworth Building, Customs Street East, Auckland, on Monday, 25th August, 1941, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of having laid before them an account showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof may be disposed of.
