Captain (temp. Major) B. T. W. Irwin, M.D., D.P.H., relinquishes command of the 4th Field Hygiene Section, is appointed to command the Base Hygiene Section, and retains the temporary rank of Major. Dated 24th June, 1941.
Captain S. Hardy, N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of Liaison Officer, Headquarters, N.Z. Artillery. Dated 18th May, 1941.
Captain C. L. Brett, 18th (Auckland) Battalion, relinquishes the appointment of Liaison Officer, 4th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and ceases to be seconded. Dated 18th March, 1941.
Captain R. L. Hutches, 19th (Wellington) Battalion, relinquishes the appointment of Liaison Officer, 4th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, dated 16th April, 1941, but remains seconded while acting as Staff Captain.
Captain S. W. Josland, 25th (Wellington) Battalion, relinquishes the appointment of Liaison Officer, 6th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and ceases to be seconded. Dated 4th June, 1941.

Lieutenant J. M. D. McCredie, N.Z. Artillery, is appointed Staff Lieutenant, Headquarters, N.Z. Artillery. Dated 21st February, 1941.
2nd Lieutenant S. L. G. Smythe, 25th (Canterbury-Otago) Battalion, is appointed Liaison Officer at 6th N.Z. Infantry Brigade Headquarters, and is seconded. Dated 9th June, 1941.
